I was born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in good ole Hurtsboro, AL on the family farm. Growing up in the south, you will learn two things; the meaning of hard work and to always make good on your commitments.
Over the past 10 years, I have become known and recognized by friends and the community for being about my business. I have successfully founded, operated and exited four businesses within that time frame; but I pride myself more on the ones in which I was not so successful. It was the unsuccessful ventures that taught the most valuable lessons not just in business, but in life as well. Among many, I learned stewardship in offering pro bono business consulting services to hundreds of budding and experienced entrepreneurs. I learned empathy when I realized that life and business are not just about gains, but being able to understand and solve a need for people. It was during the global pandemic that I learned the valuable lesson of readiness and having a solid financial plan, as well as an endgame. I saw firsthand in my own circle, why nearly 50% of Americans do not have a properly structured insurance program and how 70% of businesses and families are under-insured. This is how wealth is lost and the wealth gap is the largest for minorities.
When I started the TAG agency, I made it my commitment to aid in restoring the infrastructure within minority families by: prioritizing needs; preserving the essence of community; protecting economic sustainability; and implementing proven strategies that are used by some of the wealthiest families and business people today.
